Campus Hub Terms of Service

Governing student app credit services and campus retailer SaaS subscriptions.

1.0 Corporate Identity & Master Legal Relationship

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you (referred to as "User", "Student", "Customer", or "Retailer") and Campus Hub (campushub.my), a commercial software product brand developed and operated by QL Studio, a specialized software division of Qim Lab Enterprise (Malaysian Companies Commission / SSM Registration No: 202603007186 / 003810616-X), headquartered in Malacca, Malaysia.

Campus Hub delivers digital mobile applications, student wallet credits, IoT-integrated campus amenities, and business-to-business (B2B) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products for campus retailers. These terms operate under and are governed by the master legal framework, corporate liability limitations, and payment governance of Qim Lab Enterprise accessible at policies.qimlab.com.my/terms.html.

2.0 User Accounts & Registration

To access our mobile application features or merchant SaaS consoles, you must create an authentic Campus Hub account:

  • Account Authenticity: You agree to provide accurate, current, and verifiable information during registration, including your full legal name, valid mobile number, email address, and affiliated university or college campus.
  • Credential Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials (passwords, OTPs, or authentication tokens). Any action initiated through your registered account is deemed authorized by you.
  • Age & Eligibility: The Service is intended for students, faculty, campus residents, and authorized retail merchants. Users under 18 must use the service with parent or legal guardian guidance.

3.0 Campus Hub Credits & In-App Top-Up

We provide an in-app purchase and credit top-up system within the Campus Hub mobile app ("Campus Hub Credits" or "Wallet Balance"):

  • Denomination & Purpose: Campus Hub Credits are stored digital service tokens denominated in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). They are strictly designated to activate automated on-campus IoT services (e.g., self-service printing kiosks and smart dobby laundry machines).
  • Authorized Payment Gateways: Credit top-ups are processed through Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) licensed payment gateways. We accept FPX Online Banking, Malaysian debit/credit cards (Visa/Mastercard), and DuitNow QR. We do not store your raw payment card credentials on our servers.
  • Non-Transferable: Credits credited to your account are tied strictly to your registered profile and cannot be transferred, gifted, or sold to third-party accounts.
  • Validity: Campus Hub Credits do not expire while your student/user account remains active.

4.0 Campus IoT Services (Printing & Dobby)

Users utilize their Campus Hub mobile app and Credits to activate physical on-campus automated machinery:

Self-Service Printing

Upload PDF or document files via the app or web portal. At the printer kiosk, scan the machine's dynamic QR code to release the job. Credits are deducted per printed page based on published color/grayscale rates. Users are strictly responsible for the copyright and legality of printed materials.

Smart Dobby (Laundry)

Select an available washing machine or dryer at your campus hostel laundromat, verify load capacity, and scan the machine QR code to initiate the cycle. Credits are deducted per cycle. Users must promptly retrieve their laundry upon cycle completion.

5.0 Retailer SaaS Subscriptions (POS & PMS)

Campus Hub provides dedicated cloud-based software subscriptions for on-campus commercial operators:

  • Point of Sale System (POS): Empowers campus convenience marts, cafeteria stalls, and stationery shops with cloud cashiering, inventory tracking, barcode scanning, sales analytics, and digital receipts.
  • Parcel Management System (PMS): Provides campus parcel distribution centers and mailrooms with barcode check-in, automated recipient student alerts (push/in-app), and secure OTP/QR collection verification to eliminate lost parcels.
  • Subscription Cycles & Billing: Retailer services are provided on monthly or annual recurring SaaS subscription plans. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled prior to the next billing date.
  • SLA & Availability: We target 99.5% service availability during university operating hours, excluding pre-announced routine maintenance.
  • Hardware Compatibility: Web and Android POS/PMS interfaces operate on standard compatible tablets, thermal receipt printers, and USB/Bluetooth barcode scanners.

6.0 Disruptions, Equipment Failures & Refunds

We stand by fair dealing and prompt remedies if an automated service fails:

For Campus Hub App Users (Credit Re-crediting)

If an automated printer suffers a hardware jam, runs out of toner/paper before outputting your job, or a laundromat machine fails to commence after credit deduction, our system will either automatically detect the failure or allow you to submit an in-app issue report within 24 hours.

Upon automated telemetry or operator verification, the exact deducted credits will be promptly re-credited to your Campus Hub in-app balance. Because credits are digital service tokens, cash withdrawals or bank cash-outs are not permitted except upon formal account closure following graduation or withdrawal from the institution.

For Retailer SaaS Subscribers

Retailers may cancel their recurring POS or PMS subscription at any time via the merchant admin portal or by writing to contact@qimlab.com.my. Access remains active through the end of the paid billing cycle.

Under our 14-Day Initial Defect Remediation Window, if a verified platform bug renders the merchant system inoperable and our technical team cannot resolve it within seven (7) business days of written notice, a pro-rated refund of the current billing cycle fee will be disbursed.

7.0 Acceptable Use & Intellectual Property

All software interfaces, logos, algorithms, and designs comprising Campus Hub are the exclusive intellectual property of Qim Lab Enterprise. Users and Retailers agree not to:

  • Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Campus Hub mobile app, POS, or PMS platforms.
  • Manipulate or intercept hardware controller signals on campus printers, photocopiers, or laundry washing machines.
  • Use the printing service to produce fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or legally prohibited content under Malaysian law.
  • Misuse the Parcel Management System to log fraudulent parcels or falsify student pickup verifications.

8.0 Limitation of Liability & Governing Law

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Campus Hub and Qim Lab Enterprise shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including garments damaged due to user setting selection, documents left unattended at physical print trays, or lost business profits. Total financial liability is strictly capped in accordance with Section 6.0 of the Qim Lab Enterprise master terms.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any unresolved disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
